Sheryl is an American actor, comedian and TV presenter and best-known for her hosting of The Talk, a popular chat show on daytime. The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and raised in Little Rock, Atwater, and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in a difficult family. She spent most part of her childhood caring for Frankie. Frankie suffered from an illness called polio. As a teenager, she experienced a difficult relationship with her mother. Sheryl claims that at one point when her mother stabbed her father after he got too close to Her. Following her college graduation Sheryl became a military officer. Her passion for the military was comedy. In 1989 she was the first woman to make the top in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. Her first TV career in 1992 having a frequent appearance as a actor on HBO's comedy program Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she hosted The show Oh Drama! She has appeared as a host on The Talk since 2011. She has also been the fictional character in TV shows like Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
