Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood, she is an American comedian and television host popular as hosts for The Talk, a popular talk show on the daytime channel. Sheryl was born and raised within Little Rock. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. She spent most of her young life caring for her younger sister Frankie suffering from Polio. While growing up, Sheryl faced many difficulties with her mom. Sheryl says that her mother one time slapped her father over getting too close. Sheryl entered the military following her graduation from university. Sheryl's love of comedy was much more prominent. She became the first female finalist in the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. In 1992, she began her TV debut as a regular on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She also hosted the show Oh Drama! in 2000. In 2011, she began appearing as a co-host on the talk show The Talk. In addition she has also appeared in a variety of fictional characters on series including Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
